Kisumu residents are now calling on the Kisumu Central MP Hon. Fred Odhiambo Ouda to resurface and assist his party deal with the current mayhem rocking the coalition after Raila’s swearing in exactly a week ago.
There have been two major arrests that have been made to the coalition’s members, the most controversial being the detention of Miguna Miguna, the self proclaimed National Resistant Movement general.
According to the assistant DPP Nicholas Mutuku in the Nairobi Law Court, KISUMUINSYDER.CO.KE has learnt that Miguna Miguna has been charged at a Kajiado court days after he was arrested and held in secret.
Police charge sheet stated that the lawyer was liable for being present and consenting to NASA leader Raila Odinga’s oath.
The vocal lawyer was also charged with being part of an assembly and also as being a professed member of a proscribed group – NRM.
Miguna did not take plea to the charges and demanded that he be released so that he can see his family in Nairobi.
That aside, Kisumu residents are now worried after it’s emerging that their city MP, Fred Ouda is nowhere in the public action wise, amidst all the happenings currently striking NRM.
Kisumu residents are comparing him to his first timer colleague Hon Babu Owino, the Embakasi East law maker who can be seen on the fore front in trying to lead the coalition during this wavy moment.
Ex-MCA Eddy Anayo in a facebook post has joined this call and has mentioned that it’s time Hon. Fred Ouda came out and supported Raila as he promised during his campaigns.
“We the Kisumu Central voters are a disappointed lot. Since you were elected you haven’t been seen standing firmly with baba nor done live drama” the former politician turned business man said
“Help Miguna Miguna by chaining yourself at the gates of the High Court but katek lonyri duk (But if possible strip)” Anayo urged the city mp
Fred Ouda, a former MCA who was elected the Kisumu Central MP became popular after having stripped in his office and chained himself at the IEBC offices during anti-IEBC protests that marred parts of the country earlier.
