Based in Hamburg, Terry Chocolat continues to make enviable steps in journalism that many could just be dreaming of.
After ditching Royal Media’s Ramogi FM where she hosted the mid-morning show, ‘Wang’ Onyango’, she left the country to pursue greener pastures abroad where she has been living for 13 years now.
She now owns Proud Chocolate, an exclusive radio station in Germany that streams live just much as a TV station.
Her channel can be watched from the radio link on her website: www.proudchocolate.com.
Apart from the radio job, Terry ‘Nyang’iya’ doubles as a Communications Assistant at an Engineering company in Hamburg.
Well, the lass has now been picked among those to be feted with a luxurious journalism award this September in Texas, thanks to DEAR Awards, a non- profit organization based in the US.
She has been nominated for the best Media/Radio/TV/Journalism award.
DEAR awards are meant to honor people doing exceptionally well in their careers and engaging in an extra effort to themselves succeed.
The high end red carpet event which is held annually will have this year’s edition going down at the Marriott Hotel, Las Colinas, Texas on 1st September.
Below is the media girl giving top journalists sleepless nights.
From us at Kisumu Insyder, congratulations Terry and all the best.
Other Kenyans nominated for the awards include Celly Rue Brown, Akothee’s daughter who is also the current Face of Nivea EA.
