Tanzanian songstress Saida Karoli arrived in the country on Tuesday morning ahead of two massive concerts in Nairobi and Kisumu.

The icon who hit instant fame after her ‘Maria Salome’ release will be performing alongside Ohangla maestro Musa Jakadalla and Congolese singer L. Rice, a former vocalist with Congolese crooner Ferre Gola’s band.

Saida Karoli’s style is a fusion of traditional and contemporary beats, while she sings in a blend of Kiswahili and her native Haya language.

She has assured her fans a treat to all her latest and all time classics as it’s been long since she last performed in Kenya.

Her first show will be in Nairobi at the Upperhill based Meladen Bar on Friday, 7th December from 6PM.

A week later, Friday 14th December, the artists will land in Kisumu for another mega concert at the Tom Mboya Labour College.
