A viral video and sets of photos emerged online showing a scandalous South African pastor Alph Lukau allegedly ‘resurrecting’ a dead man on Sunday, February 24th.
According to the video watched by KISUMUINSYDER.CO.KE, the controversial pastor is seen approaching a hearse and opening the casket that had in it the body of the man named Elliot believed to have ‘died’ a fortnight ago.
The pastor then moves his hands over the ‘dead man’ in a process of trying to bring him ‘back to life’.
After the dramatic ‘miracle’, Elliot is ordered to wake up and according to the video circulating on tabloids, the man ‘comes back to life’ and is helped up and out of the coffin, with his mouth having been open during the entire process.
Minutes after Elliot is resurrected, he is still not able to close his mouth, and is escorted to the Ministry’s church where he’s treated to a delicacy.
Here’s the trending video from a Tweep.
While Pastor Alph Lukau is busy talking, I encourage to concentrate on the mouth of the guy in the coffin then you will decide if he was dead or not.
Maybe this guy can bring back the like of Nelson Mandela, Hector Peterson, Hugh Masekela, Steve Biko, OR Tambo and others. pic.twitter.com/lFoNsM0grO

According to Elliot’s brother, the deceased’s body had been lying at the Kings and Queens Funeral Home, a statement the facility has distanced itself from.
“As kings and Queens Funeral Services, we would like to distance ourselves from the supposed resurrection of a deceased man by Hallelujah Ministries who allegedly was at our mortuary.
We were approached by alleged family members of the deceased who informed us they had encountered a dispute with a different funeral service provider and would like to use our transport services which we offered them.
We did not supply the coffin neither did we store the deceased at our mortuary and no paper work was processed by Kings and Queens Funerals.” read a statement by the facility on their official social media pages.
Well, Kenyans who are well known to take up challenges in similar occurrences have not left anything to chance.
A section of social media users have taken to their platforms to mock the pastor in a new challenge baptized the #ResurrectionChallenge.
