It was a dark Saturday for Radio Lake Victoria’s presenter Betty Opondo as her son, Tevin was finally laid to rest.
The boy who had been having a heart-related ailment collapsed and died while watching his favorite cartoon channel Nickelodeon on TV over a fortnight ago at their Nairobi home.
Betty Opondo received the heart-breaking news via a phone call while at work in Kisumu at the vernacular radio station she works for.
He was laid to his final resting place on Saturday 9th March at their Simero home in Siaya County at a ceremony that was clouded with a sombre mood.
