Freddy Jakadongo, born Fred Odiwuor Nyandiko is undoubtedly one of the fastest rising Ohangla artists, currently riding high with his hit-song ‘Ngima Miyiero’.

Jakadongo, who coined his stage name from his place of birth, Kadongo, in Homa Bay County has proven that all it takes to be a star is consistency and hard work.

Having started his career wayback in 2010, the Nairobi based artist came to the limelight soon after releasing ‘Ngima Miyiero’, 8 years after officially commercializing his music.

He is now keen on growing his Blessed Ohangla Young Turks Band as he prepares to unleash his 7th album.

Part of the activities he’s currently undertaking to improve his brand are the numerous tours and charities he’s been involved in since the beginning of 2019.

Among the successful tours the artist has managed to undertake include a recent visit to Migori, Homa Bay, Siaya, Kisumu & Busia counties.

During the visits, Jakadongo met and dined with his die-hard fans, taking sometime to learn from them what they need and what they feel about his music.

A notable charity he took part in was in Kisumu at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground on 27th April.

The artist and his team dropped a party for the countless street kids usually thronging the area.

This, he says was a way of giving back to the society as part of his brand’s objectives.

Below are some photos from the noble event.
