Well, on 14th December, Miss Curvy Kenya, her new addition to her line of events was launched at a successful fete that went down at the KIZA Lounge & Restaurant’s ballroom, Nairobi.

Miss Curvy Curve, a body positivity campaign, aims at promoting self confidence among the rarely recognized curvy models.

“Most fashion events and beauty pageants focus on small bodied models, leaving out a huge fraction of talented models, the curvy pageants.

Here’s a platform that will encourage such models to get out of their comfort zones and come out to show case their worth” says Donna

The first edition of the event which was also the launch attracted over 35 models who auditioned, giving way to only 10 finalists who battled for the top prize of KES 100,000 plus lots of goodies from sponsors who were part of the event.
